Professional Career

01/2011 Update: I was going to delete this post, but have decided to ‘preserve’ it.  I am now happily employed and am no longer seeking work opportunities.

To researchers of my professional career, I welcome the opportunity to share with you some of my personal projects that have not been part of any previous position held at a company.

It is my hopes that it would give some insight into my knowledge and broad skill-set that would encourage you to contact me with your opportunities.

Portal that allows I.T. specialists to share knowledge with other peers. It is the goal of this site to provide, concise and to the point information that will directly influence getting a persons job done successfully.

This project stemmed from personal interest, I like to consider myself as a maker. A maker is someone who likes to understand how things work and then proceed to modify and enhance it further. I also enjoy taking this type of knowledge and creating things from scratch that would normally be impractical for most individuals to own, such as various types of metalworking and woodworking equipment.

Although the heart of this system is a members only area, one can still see from the site that it caters to a large worldwide audience. It all started one day, 12+ years ago, in a Shoney’s restaurant over lunch.

Tommy, the site owner and extrordinair in this industry came to me with an idea and I put together all the technology required for him to successfully turn his idea into what is now his career. Although Tommy now performs practically all the daily site operations, I still provide the overall management of I.T. related items for him.
